Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive Office Assistant / Accountant to manage day-to-day administrative tasks and basic accounting operations. The role combines front-office coordination with financial record-keeping, ensuring smooth office functioning and accurate financial tracking for construction projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Duties (50%)
- Greet visitors, manage incoming calls, and handle courier/mail services.
- Maintain office supplies inventory; coordinate with vendors for procurement (stationery, pantry, cleaning).
- Schedule meetings, site visits, and appointments for project managers/engineers.
- Assist in preparing tenders, quotations, and project documentation (BOQ, work orders).
- Manage employee attendance, leave records, and basic HR coordination (onboarding forms, ID cards).
- Ensure office cleanliness, safety compliance, and petty cash for daily expenses.
Accounting & Finance Duties (50%)
- Record daily transactions in Tally ERP 9 / QuickBooks (purchase bills, subcontractor payments, material receipts).
- Process vendor invoices, verify against POs/GRNs, and prepare payment vouchers.
- Track project-wise expenses (labor, material, machinery hire).
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow for site advances.
- Generate GST invoices, file monthly GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B returns.
- Assist in payroll processing (salary slips, PF/ESI deductions).
- Prepare basic MIS reports (expense vs. budget, outstanding payables).
Required Qualifications & Skills Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Certification in Tally / GST (preferred).
Technical Skills:
- Mandatory: MS Office (Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), Google Workspace.
- Good to have: Knowledge of Zoho Books / Busy / construction ERP modules.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication in English & Kannada (Hindi is a plus).
- Attention to detail, multitasking, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
Other Requirements:
- Familiarity with GST compliance and TDS deductions under Section 194C (contractors).
- Basic understanding of construction cost codes (material, labor, overheads).
- Willingness to visit project sites occasionally (within Bengaluru).

- Salary: 15000 to 20,000 INR/Month
- Work Timings: Mon–Sat, 9:30 AM–6:30 PM
