Big news for aspiring teachers in Maharashtra! The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) 2025 results have been officially declared by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune. The announcement came on January 16, 2026, bringing relief to lakhs of candidates who appeared for the exam.The MAHA TET 2025 exam was successfully conducted on November 23, 2025, in offline mode across various centers in the state. It included two papers:

  • Paper 1 — For candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5 (Primary level)
  • Paper 2 — For those aiming to teach Classes 6 to 8 (Upper Primary level)

A large number of candidates registered, with over 2 lakh for Paper 1 and around 1.79 lakh for Paper 2. The results, including detailed scorecards and marks, are now available on the official website.

    • Reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST/PwD): Typically 55% (subject to official confirmation)
  • Certificate Validity: The MAHA TET eligibility certificate (issued to qualifiers) is valid for a lifetime, making candidates eligible to apply for teaching positions in government, aided, and private schools across Maharashtra.

Qualified candidates will receive the official Teacher Eligibility Certificate, a crucial document for future recruitment drives.

  2. Look for the “MAHA TET 2025 Result” or “Interim Result” link on the homepage (under Important Events or Results section).

  5. Download and print the scorecard/PDF for future reference.
